Emmetts Civil Construction is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Storeperson to join our dynamic team. If you have proven expertise in managing civil construction supplies and possess a positive, collaborative attitude, we want to hear from you!

Key Requirements & Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and accurate operation of our construction materials store. Experience in all relevant store management tasks is essential, including:

• Inventory Management: Performing goods receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of all materials, parts, plant and equipment.
• Logistics: Coordinating and preparing orders for various construction sites and ensuring timely delivery and dispatch.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate stock records, conducting regular stocktakes, and managing documentation (e.g., delivery dockets, requisitions).
• Safety & Compliance: Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies within the store environment.
• Organisation: Maintaining a clean, safe, and highly organised store layout.
• Equipment Operation: Operating forklifts and other relevant lifting equipment safely (current license required).

What We Are Looking For

• Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Storeperson, preferably within the civil construction or a related heavy industry environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Competence in using inventory management software/systems.
• Attitude: A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a commitment to collaborative teamwork. You must be reliable, punctual, and possess excellent communication skills.
• Physical Fitness: The ability to perform physical tasks associated with manual handling and store operations.
